Mat Hart, head of production on Heavenly Sword, has posted a developer blog over on IGN, revealing amongst other things that the game won’t run in 1080p, but a demo will be released soon.
“I can confirm that we are, of course, going to be releasing a demo for Heavenly Sword…and soon! This will be downloadable via the PlayStation Network… so keep an eye out for this in the very near future… and I mean very near future!” said Hart.
Hart also responded to a question asking if the game will run in 1080p at 60fps; unfortunately it won’t, instead offering 720p visuals, although Hart didn’t state what frame rate the game will run at.
Heavenly Sword is currently in the final stages of development, with a release currently lined-up for September. The game is likely to be heavily featured by Sony at E3 next week so expect an onslaught of screens coming your way soon.
