Wales Interactive and Superstring have announced Headspun, a brand new FMV/adventure title revolving around the ‘ongoing battle between logic and emotion.’ It’s coming this summer for PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

Appropriately enough for game called Headspun, the action takes place in the human brain. You’re put in control of Ted, who is the rational, intelligent voice in the head of Theo, a chap who recently awoke from a five-week coma suffering from memory loss.

Ted is constantly butting heads with Teddy, Theo’s primal, subconscious voice, although the pair will eventually have to work together and put aside their differences to repair Theo’s broken mind.

Headspun offers branching dialogue combined with FMV storytelling, which was filmed at Surrey’s Rowell House back in January 2018 with a small cast and crew. Players will also cobble together Lost Memories in an effort find out what happened to Theo on the night of his accident, as well as hire staff to help rebuild the cortex.

Time to put your thinking caps on, eh?
