Harvey Birdman – Attorney at Law is a new interactive fiction game merging the fun and mayhem of the popular Adult Swim TV show with a unique style of gameplay. Not so much of a game as an interactive story, players will find themselves participating in the game rather than being challenged to win.
Each case is a self-contained story and incorporates the characters, settings and off-beat humour of Harvey Birdman. Harvey will have to explore the scene of the crime, gather evidence, talk with characters, have drinks with opposing council and tear holes in the testimony provided by the witnesses for the prosecution.
“With Capcom’s past success in the legal game-play arena, working with them to bring Harvey Birdman to a whole new platform was the perfect verdict for both companies,” said Christina Miller, vice president of consumer products for Cartoon Network Enterprises, the licensing and merchandising division of Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. “Fans should really enjoy being in control of the barely controllable legal “eagle” Harvey Birdman.“
The game is scheduled for release in North America for PS2 and PSP later this year, but there doesn’t appear to be any plans for a European release at this time.
