The PC and Xbox 360 servers for Happy Wars will be shutting up shop this year, Toylogic has announced (via XBA).

You won’t have to get your skates on just yet though, as the servers aren’t actually going offline until December 16. Still, the game will be delisted from the Xbox Store on June 14 (meaning you won’t be able to purchase it anymore) while the Happy Tickets in-game currency will be given the boot at 8.00pm ET on April 11.

The Xbox One version of the game will remain fully playable, although live events for the PC and Xbox 360 versions will cease on June 13. You also won’t be able to play the game offline once the servers have gone the way of the Dodo, so Xbox One will be your only port of call.

Happy Wars was released on Xbox 360 in 2012 and later made the jump to PC and Xbox One in 2014 and 2015, respectively. The game proved a pretty major hit on Microsoft’s last-generation telly box, notching up over six million downloads worldwide.
