Hans Zimmer, the legendary composer whose recent work includes Inception and The Dark Knight, has teamed up with the Crytek to create part of the score for Crysis 2.
Zimmer and his team featuring Lorne Balfe worked with the existing composers Borislav Slavov and Tilman Sillescu to create a score which sets the tone for the game’s backdrop of a devastated New York City in 2023.
“I was drawn to Crysis 2 because of Crytek’s passion for the project and the world they created,” said Zimmer. “And I am very happy with the outcome of our collaboration.”
Crysis 2 will be released in the UK on March 25 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
