Hand of Fate 2, the sequel to developer Defiant Development’s 2015 deckbuilding action RPG, is set to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 7, and will also launch with 4K support on Xbox One X.

Hand of Fate 2 sees the Dealer return, but rather than have Noel Edmonds as a conduit for their message, they dole out cards in front of you, testing your hack-and-slash prowess, and ability to make important decisions. Defiant Development has also included an overworld map this time around, which boasts ‘entirely new ways’ to play the game.

There’s new weapon types, fighting styles, cards that buff you, storylines, enemies, and pretty much everything you’d expect from a sequel.

“We’re excited to finally lock in a release date for Hand of Fate 2,” director Morgan Jaffit understandably stated. ‘The team has been keeping our heads down working on the game, and now that we’re nearly done, I can safely say this marks a new chapter in the level of quality we can achieve.’

Hand of Fate 2 launches November 7 on Xbox One X, Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
