Professional Halo gamer Eric “GH057ayame” Hewitt has joined the staff at Halo developer 343 Industries.
Hewitt suggested he was joining the Seattle studio when he posted a pic of his flight ticket, then updated his Twitter bio to confirm the move.
The gamer had previously competed as part of Team Carbon, and is also credited with creating the settings for Halo 4’s Team Throwdown playlist.
343 isn’t shy about bringing in pro gamers, having last year hired “Dersky” and “Neighbour”.
Halo for Xbox One is expected to be released later this year.
