Despite being dismissed as an April Fool’s joke by Bungie, Game Informer is sticking to its guns. According to the magazine, Forerunner will feature huge persistent worlds built on a modified version of the Halo 2 engine. There will also be support for co-op play for up to four players.
The magazine doesn’t stop there with its Halo stories, also claiming that the rumoured Project Orion is in fact a Bungie codename for a massively multiplayer Halo game.
If either these rumours are true then let’s hope Microsoft feels the need to reveal all the info at E3.
