343 Industries has released the first piece of concept art for its Xbox One Halo project, showing off a brand new location.

Though little is still known about the upcoming shooter, the art offers a first look at an environment that “features prominently” in the game, part of which appears to be a futuristic military installation.

It also reveals an early look at some of the airships and vehicles you can expect to see. Look closely and you can see a Pelican setting off in the backdrop.

Halo is due to launch on Xbox One later this year. More details are expected to be revealed “in the not-so-distant future”.

Note: This article originally incorrectly referred to the new location as ‘Sparth’. This is, in fact, the nickname of 343 art director Nicolas Bouvier.
