After weeks of clinging on, Halo 2’s Xbox LIVE multiplayer is now over, with the final few players leaving the game over night.

Bungie forum member ‘Apache N4SIR’ was the last player left after ‘Agent Windex’ was kicked from the server at 4pm PDT. Around seven hours later – approximately 11pm PDT, May 10, 2010 – Apache N4SIR, with no one to play against, was also kicked from the game’s servers.

The game had been kept alive since the original Xbox LIVE service shut down on April 15.
