Bungie have stated that there will be ‘big news’ about maps and other possible content for Halo 2 this week. It comes after Microsoft’s Korean site listed a Halo 2 X-Pack last week, creating a fevered speculation across the net. Bungie has always stated that they plan to make expansions available to both those with LIVE and those without, so by releasing additional content on a disk, they satisfy both parties. That is, so long as the x-pack isn’t too expensive.
What goodies this disk holds is the most interesting question, though. Will it merely be more multiplayer maps or should we expect something more exciting? Extra vehicles or *gasp* maybe more single player content? Some would argue that it would be nice if it contained a proper ending too….
