Half of Mario Kart DS players try wireless

According to Nintendo this sets a new industry standard and highlights the easy setup and access of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, as well as the fun gameplay of Mario Kart DS. The game was the first available to use the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service and from November 14 through to last Sunday it has managed to shift 112,000 copies in North America, with almost 52,000 people using the wireless service.

Mario Kart DS is released across Europe on Friday.
