Many Half Life 2 gamers who have been dying to play the game for some time now, are yet again delayed. Those who bought the DVD copy of the game are experiencing technical difficulties, but those who chose to download the game via Steam aren’t all happy bunnies either. Our very own Executive Editor, Tom, was falsely informed that the game was ready to play. Much excitement ensued as we gathered round his PC, only to find that it wasn’t ready to play at all.

It’s sad that lots of people are having their initial Half Life 2 experiences ruined, and we can only hope that Valve get onto fixing the bugs as soon as possible. With many people across the world taking the day off work or school to play the game, it is unfortunate that for many, a day at work would have been more enjoyable. Look for some new screens of the game as soon as we can get it working, and a full review in the coming weeks.
