If you don’t want to spoil Episode 2 then it’s advisable you stop reading this news now, but for those that simply must know what’s going to happen, please read on.
First off, Alyx is alive. Woooot! In the second episode we can also look forward to loads of new environments, including a mine shaft and a missile silo. Puzzles will once again make an appearance, but they’ll be the most difficult to solve yet. An emphasis is also said to be on combat, with a new weapon and big battle sequences.
Half-Life 2: Episode 2 is due before Christmas, but don’t be too surprised if it suffers from a typical Valve Software delay.
