Daybreak Games has announced that undead-dismembering battle royale title H1Z1 has notched up 1.5 million players during the game's Open Beta on PlayStation 4.
While it's free to download, it's still pretty impressive considering the beta only launched just two days ago.
Unfortunately, H1Z1's PS4 taster was dogged by numerous issues, including problems with logging in and users being unable to purchase items. Daybreak is on the case however, so hopefully a fix should be here soon.
[PS4 Open Beta] A huge THANK YOU to the 1,500,000+ of you who have joined us in The Arena since the #H1Z1 Open Beta launch on #PS4 yesterday! We're continuing to work to resolve login and purchase issues, and are committed to bringing you a pure battle royale experience. pic.twitter.com/kj9tP5BaLt

H1Z1 was previously in Early Access on PC for three years before getting a full release back in February, after which it went F2P.
