The PlayStation 4 version of H1Z1: Battle Royale is getting a full release on August 7, developer Daybreak Games has announced.

The last-man-standing version of the popular shooter will leave Open Beta complete with a bunch of new content, including additional weapons, an extra vehicle, Trophies, and launch bundled.

In terms of new weapons, players will be able to get their mitts on an RPG and semi-automatic sniper rifle. As you can imagine, the RPG is best suited to blowing up vehicles while the sniper rifle is good for those instant headshot kills.

Meanwhile, the ARV carries a full squad of five and features a hatch allowing your top sharpshooter to pick off foes while on the move.

Daybreak also confirmed that H1Z1 will be getting a Battle Pass Season 1 offering, with three reward types: Free, Premium, and PlayStation Plus. In addition, there's 30 reward tiers, each one unlockable by hoovering up XP gained by simply playing the game or via in-game purchases.

Finally, those of you looking to pick up H1Z1 with a few extras at launch can pick from the Viper Launch Bundle and Hardline Launch Bundle.

H1Z1: Battle Royale drummed up a lot of interest during its Open Beta a few months back, notching up 4.5 million players.
