Available now on Xbox LIVE Marketplace is a playable demo of Activision’s latest rock fest, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Weighing-in at 544MB gamers are treated to five playable tracks: “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benetar, “Lay Down” by Priestess, “Even Flow” by Pearl Jam, “Rock You Like A Hurricane” by Scorpions and “The Metal” by Tenacious D.
In addition to solo play, two players can compete in a number of multiplayer game modes. Best of all your existing Guitar Hero II controllers are fully compatible with the demo.
The full game, scheduled for release on November 23, will feature over 70 of the biggest rock songs and online play, making it possible to battle or play with your friends from all over the world.
