Guild Wars: Eye of the North will continue the no subscription fee model set out by ArenaNet with the previous three Guild Wars campaigns (Guild Wars, Nightfall and Factions).
Unlike the previous releases which were standalone products, Eye of the North is an expansion and requires any one of the previously released Guild Wars campaigns.
Eye of the North follows up on events in the original Guild Wars campaign and sees players exploring the continent of Tyria. Designed for veteran players, the expansion includes 18 large, multi-level dungeons, 150 new skills across all ten professions, ten new Heroes, 40 new armour sets and more items, weapons and titles.
Players will also be able to use the Hall of Monuments to preserve their accomplishments and titles from the Guild Wars, Factions and Nightfall, which can then be re-claimed in Guild Wars 2.
Guild Wars: Eye of the North will be released on August 31, 2007.
