NCsoft has announced it is still considering releasing Guild Wars 2 on console, however there are no plans to forge ahead until after the MMO’s PC release.
Speaking in a financial call today, as reported by GuildWarsInsider, the firm stated it is still “in the preparation stage” for the game, and while nothing has been finalised it is currently “looking at various options”.
The company has also confirmed large-scale beta testing will run from March to April, and depending on the result “a finalised commercial schedule will be determined.”
Additionally, seasonality factors will also be taken into consideration for the “final commercialisation” of Guild Wars 2.
While no official release date has been announced, recently Amazon.de pinned June 30 as the date to look out for.
