A new behind-the-scenes concept art video has been revealed, featuring drawings of the Asura race by ArenaNet’s Matt Barrett.

Accompanying the video is a blog post by Barrett explaining what went into the design of the race, while showing several variations of the Asura that the studio went through before settling on its current form.

Asura Week kicked off September 12, with ArenaNet promising a five-day-long celebration of the new race.
