GTR 2 – FIA GT Racing Game is the highly anticipated sequel to GTR, and is once again from acclaimed developer SimBin, and there’s good news for fans tearing their teeth out in desperation – the game will be in stores come September 29. Atari reports that the game is now complete so it’s just a matter of producing enough copies to send out across Europe.

GTR 2 will feature more than 140 realistically modelled cars from two full FIA GT seasons, plus is said to deliver a greater level of realism than its predecessor. Scratches will now show up on the body work, and collisions down to the smallest knock will be reflected in the car’s appearance and handling. Newcomers to the racing sim genre are also welcomed to the game with a fully featured driving school in which you’ll be able to learn the ins and outs of FIA GT racing.

GTR 2 is published by 10Tacle Studios and distributed by Atari.
