A PSP Grand Theft Auto game has been known about for months and recently the name ‘Grand Theft Auto: Liberty Stories’ has been passed around the internet. At a European press briefing in LA, Sony Europe Boss David Reeves finally confirmed the name and gave us some idea on when the game would be released. According to Reeves, the game will be released soon after the PSP launches in Europe on September 1st.
Rumours about the game have said that it will be anything from a remake of the first PlayStation 2 title, to a stricter, traditional level based game, without the massive freedom that you’d expect from a GTA game, but all that has been confirmed so far is the name. If we hear anything more from the show we’ll let you know.
