Rockstar has launched a place holder website for its upcoming Nintendo DS exclusive title, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. The first we heard of the title was during Nintendo’s E3 2008 media briefing, although Nintendo offered next to no info on the game.
The new website page doesn’t offer much more solid information, but does confirm the game will be out “this winter”. Additionally the page features a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection logo, suggesting the DS’ first GTA will feature some kind of online support. This could be anything from multiplayer modes to leaderboards, but it’s certainly a positive sign.
Winter begins in December so it could be a while before Rockstar is ready to divulge the first real details on this highly anticipated title.
