According to Nintendoeverything.com, which has translated a GTA 4 article from a Spanish magazine, Rockstar Games’ upcoming Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS will feature a large portion of the game world previously seen in GTA 4.

According to a magazine scan showing the game’s map, we can expect the game to take place across many of the locations from GTA 4, with Alderney being the major omission. This means players will be able to visit Dukes, Bohan, Broker and Algonquin.

The Spanish magazine also includes a bunch more general game info. For starters it’s now confirmed that the camera can be rotated a full 360 degrees and players will be able to signal for a taxi by whistling into the DS microphone.

Drug dealing will also form a major part of the game. Players will have to control the stock of drugs, with buying in one neighbourhood and selling in another said to be a good way of making money. A map will also show what each particular client wants and how much they are willing to pay.

GTA: Chinatown Wars had been expected this winter, but a recent GameSpot report, citing comments made by Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick, puts the game in a February-April 2009 release window.
