So far, all we have seen of GTA 6 is two incredible trailers along with over a dozen mouth-watering screenshots. There are also patents that support exciting rumors, and, before Grand Theft Auto 6 drops next year, we might be treated to a current-gen port of GTA 4. We don’t know exactly when we will see more of Rockstar’s numerically sixth installment, but fans should get ready for GTA 6 to appear all over the world as Rockstar seem to have completed their marketing recruitment.
Rockstar complete marketing recruitment for GTA 6
On July 1st, we reported that Rockstar job listings suggested GTA 6 was poised for a huge marketing campaign across the globe. This was because Rockstar North were recruiting Marketing Localisation QA Testers on 12-month fixed terms for the following countries:
- Brazil
- France
- Germany
- Italy
- Japan
- South Korea
- Poland
- Russia
- China
- Spain
Now, as spotted by TREVORTRAILER on X, the job listings no longer appear on Rockstar’s website, which suggests the developer has completed recruitment for marketing.
We don’t know when marketing will go into full throttle, but we’re hoping we’ll be treated to trailer 3 sometime in December and then the usual Rockstar gameplay deep dives leading up to the May 26th, 2026, release date.
As for promotion outside of trailers and videos, fans should expect to see Lucia and Jason appear all over the world. Grand Theft Auto 5 had a huge presence in places like New York, London, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, but expect Grand Theft Auto 6 to appear in even more countries based off the areas Rockstar has hired Localisation QA Testers.
It’s possible Grand Theft Auto 6 could be displayed in even more countries as GTA 5 has finally been approved for Saudi Arabia on July 17th, and GTA 6 has appeared on the Saudi Arabia PSN store.
In other Grand Theft Auto news, Travis Scott has seemingly teased his inclusion with an Easter Egg in a brand-new music video.
