Codemasters has announced that the latest entry in its refreshed racing series GRID has been delayed by a month and will now be launching on October 11.

The game, first revealed back in May, was originally scheduled to release on September 13, but as per the Codemasters official blog it has been pushed back a month in order 'to give added exposure to a game we’re hugely excited about.'

People who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition will still get to play the game three days early as promised, meaning they'll get their hands on the game October 8. Everyone else will be able to play GRID from October 11 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and later Google Stadia at the latter console's launch.
