Codemasters has announced that as of today, you can pre-order GRID 2: Mono Edition, a collector’s edition that’s limited to a single copy and comes with an actual BAC-Mono racing car.
Coming in at the grand price of £125,000 – meaning, in reality, you’re buying the car with a free game – you also get the following:
- A copy of GRID 2 for PlayStation 3 featuring unique artwork.
- A day at the BAC factory, which includes a factory tour and time spent with technicians, to customise the BAC Mono for size and specifications.
- A GRID 2: Mono Edition branded Bell racing helmet.
- Race suit, boots & gloves all made to measure in BAC Mono and GRID 2 branding.
- A PlayStation 3.
If you’d like some perspective, or just fancy buying one of these motorised beasts, the BAC-Mono retails anywhere between £100,000 and £150,000. The one included here is a middle of the range model.
Usually we wouldn’t get so excited about special editions, and it’s hard to be truly ecstatic given you’d have to drop £125,000 for the privilege, but still. Free car with your overpriced game!
