First up is the patch which takes the game up to version 1.10 and will fix a lot of known issues. Gamers using an AGEIA PhysX Card will also be pleased to hear that the new patch addresses several problems associated with the add-in card, in particular offering several performance tweaks.

The patch is available for both retail and direct downloaded versions of the game, so make sure you get the correct version. All key-bindings will be reset when the patch is installed, so be sure to set them all up again before you head of into an online game and get humiliated.

Ubisoft is also planning the release of new multiplayer content over the summer. Beginning in June, Ubisoft and the game’s developer GRIN will be releasing a Deathmatch mode, map editor for Deathmatch and Domination, and new co-op maps. Also coming in June are some anti-cheat fixes and an Anti Aliasing feature.

Later in the summer will see the release of Team Deathmatch, Hamburger Hill modes, original Ghost Recon co-op mode, a map editor for the new modes, a dedicated server pack and some improvements to co-op.

Don’t say developers don’t support their games after release any more.
