Rumours that a Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Definitive Edition has intensified after the discovery of new achievement icons for the classic games.

The new achievement art was posted to the GTA Forums (thanks, PC Gamer), and has supposedly been found in a recent update to the Rockstar Launcher on PC. It includes new icons for all three games —Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas— supposedly in the unannounced collection. In addition, logos for each of the three entries are also said to have been found in the data.

It’s the latest breadcrumb in what’s becoming an increasingly likely-to-be-accurate rumour. The collection was first whispered to be in the works back in August, with several timeframes bandied around for launch. The most likely date seems to be November on consoles, with PC and mobile versions expected in 2022. Supposedly, Rockstar Dundee are working on giving the games a lick of paint for modern systems in the Unreal Engine.

Just last week, a listing for the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy Definitive Edition was spotted on a Korean ratings board. For the time being, Rockstar and its parent Take Two Interactive are keeping schtum. We’ll let you know if that changes any time soon.
