Polyphony Digital is finally adding rain to 2017's Gran Turismo Sport, demonstrating the new conditions off in a video posted over the weekend as well as showcasing the new conditions during the latest leg of the FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championships.

The track in question is the Red Bull Ring, and the video – embedded below – has professional simulation driver Coque Lopez take us around a lap of the track, so you can really see how the wet weather effects the driving conditions.

There's no release date for the update as of the time of writing, but given it was used in the previously menioned competition we would assume it can't be far away. Gran Turismo Sport is available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
