Sony and Polyphony Digital have announced on the PlayStation Blog that the current Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton will be featured as an in-game mentor in Gran Turismo Sport.
In the announcement, it was said that Hamilton will be offering expert advice, which will be based on his own driving philosophy, and he’ll even share some of his own race techniques. Hamilton’s advice will be shared in an interview format for all GT Sport players, and will no doubt provide some valuable tips that could well make you ‘as fast and strong as Lewis himself’.
Gran Turismo’s creator Kazunori Yamauchi is clearly delighted about this news, saying that, ‘from watching Lewis drive on TV all these years, I had an idea of how he might drive, but the experience of watching him drive in person was well beyond my wildest expectations.’
Gran Turismo Sport is out on PS4 on October 18.
