It looks like Google can't wait for E3, as it's decided to hold a big Google Stadia Connect event later this week promising details on games, pricing and more for its new streaming console/service.

The tech giant made the announcement via Twitter, promising that the event will include launch information, game announcements and a price reveal for the service. It'll take place on Thursday, June 6 at 5pm UK time and will be broadcast on, naturally, Google's own YouTube.

The Google Stadia was revealed back in March as Google's 'cloud based gaming platform' during GDC. It's promised to be playable on a range of devices and feature some top names in the world of games, and has even got former Ubisoft and EA executive Jade Raymond on board as their Head of Games and Entertainment Studio.

Our own Josh has some thoughts on Google Stadia and his hopes for the new platform, you can check those out here.
