Sony Computer Entertainment’s God of War: Chains of Olympus recently got the God of War III advertising bandwagon rolling with a “coming soon” ad on the back page of the game’s manual.
Coming soon doesn’t really give us any indication as to when the game will be released, merely letting gamers know that a PS3 God of War is coming. What does help pinpoint its release is a product listing on GameStop and EB Games, both of whom are now taking pre-orders for God of War III expecting a March 2009 release.
Retailer listings aren’t always accurate, but they often give a rough idea of when a game will be released. We got the usual no comment on “rumour and speculation” from Sony.
