The latest hand held device to enter the market has shipped to retail. The Gizmondo combines high performance 3D gaming, Digital camera, music player, movie player and SMS text message sender. It is a great package, but the device is yet to prove itself, particularly as a gaming device.
Twelve games are to be released during the launch period, including: Super Drop Mania, Angel Fish, Colours, Richard Burns Rally, Interstellar Flames 2, and Stuntcar Extreme.
The retail pack will contain a contract-free SIM card, mains charger, a pair of headphones, battery, and a USB cable, making the device ready to use straight out of the box.
