The Gizmondo Store is to open on London’s Carnaby Street and is intended to “act as a showcase for the Gizmondo, software and accessories” in the month before Christmas. It looks to allow consumers hands-on experience with the console, whic customers often crave.
The store is not intended to compete with existing retail, say Gizmondo’s PR people, but instead “will promote the device and the brand as a whole, which in turn will drive more traffic to every retailer stocking Gizmondo.”
