More than 6.8 million unique players took part in the Ghost Recon Wildlands beta phases, setting a new record as the “biggest beta phase” in Ubisoft’s history.
Players logged more than two billion minutes of game time, with more than 60 per cent of players making use of co-op.
“The Closed and Open Betas allowed players to start the fight against the Santa Blanca cartel, exploring two of the twenty-one provinces available in the final game (the largest action-adventure open world ever created by Ubisoft),” said Ubisoft.
The publisher added: “The valuable feedback from both betas will help the development team to help deliver the best experience at launch next week.”
All those who took part in any of the beta phases (the technical test, Closed Beta or Open Beta) and play the full game by March 31 using the same Ubisoft account, will receive access to the Unidad Conspiracy. The Unidad Conspiracy includes three exclusive missions set in the Media Luna region, and will be available for download post-launch.
Ghost Recon Wildlands launches March 7 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
