Ubisoft has confirmed that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’s first downloadable content has been delayed.

‘Arctic Strike’ had been due to launch on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network tomorrow. However, the content will now not release until later this month.

“The Arctic Strike DLC package will not be released on July 3rd as was originally communicated,” said Ubisoft.

“We decided to take a small amount of extra time to further polish the content. The pack is planned for release later in July and the exact release date will be announced as soon as possible.”

Arctic Strike contains three new snowy multiplayer maps, an additional Guerrilla map, plus six new weapons. The DLC, which is due to cost 800 Microsoft Points/$10, will also include a new multiplayer mode called ‘Stockade’ and increase the game’s level cap to level 60.
