Ghost of Yotei is Sucker Punch’s long-anticipated sequel, and it has surpassed Tsushima on Metacritic. This time the game stars Atsu instead of Jin, and star Erika Ishii has said it was “daunting” to replace Jin at first, but ultimately the role was the “completion of a dream”.

As for where the series goes next, Sucker Punch has teased exploring more unique time periods and different settings belonging to Japan, but there are some boundaries they can’t cross.
