Ghost of Tsushima developer Sucker Punch has confirmed that its limb-slicing samurai actioner will indeed feature a Photo Mode.

In fact, the studio's co-founder, Brian Flemming, was quick to remind those at E3 that inFAMOUS Second Son actually did the whole Photo Mode thing largely before anyone else.

PlayStation 4 hadn't long been at that point in time, and so it was a great way to showcase the technical grunt of Sony's then-new hardware. Now, every Tom, Dick, and Harry is doing it.

'We invented Photo Mode! Second Son, man,' Flemming told USGamer. 'Of course we've having Photo Mode.'

Ghost of Tsushima received one of Sony's 'deep dives' during its press conference, offering a detailed glimpse at its stunning-realised feudal Japanese setting and claret-spraying combat. In short, it was one of the highlights of the show for us.

Sucker Punch has yet to confirm a release date for Ghost of Tsushima, though we know it will feature the option for Japanese dialogue.
