Far Cry was released to critical acclaim scoring 91% in PC Gamer and was given the Game of the Month award. This means that Far Cry easily qualifies to be released under the PC Gamer Presents label which only allows games that achieved 80% or higher in the magazine’s review section.
All relevant patches will be included in the package, as will the 64-bit version of the game which would normally be a large 1GB download. This makes the £9.99 price tag appealing to those that are new to the game or simply don’t have internet access fast enough to obtain the patches and 64-bit version.
