In an effort to make it somewhat more attractive to those of us who are strapped for cash, HTC is now offering Vive headsets at a monthly fixed rate of £35 a month over two years, rather than forking out £749 in one fell swoop.

The financing option has been available in the States for a while now, so UK residents will be pleased that they have options when it comes to purchasing the VR headset.

Naturally enough, like all options in life where you can pay the full whack or spread it out over a few years, this will essentially mean you’ll pay more for your HTC Vive. Adding up the whole amount, this will mean your headset will cost you £830 rather than the RRP of £749.

If you have a spare £35 a month in your pay packet after taking out rent/mortgage, shopping, social events, new jumpers from New Look, that expensive hair gel you have to buy from Amazon, then maybe this is the deal for you.
