An unnamed source from a major publisher has informed Game Daily that George Harrison, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications, is to leave the company he joined in 1992.

It is not clear if he will move to another publishing company or leave video games altogether, and the reasons for his departure have not been confirmed. The news comes in the immediate wake of two job postings that appear to advertise the availability of the jobs of NoA execs Perrin Kaplan and Beth Llewelyn.

Though Nintendo has not yet confirmed Harrison’s departure, it would appear to be in line with the movement of the company’s sales and marketing team to Redwood City and New York, which will result in NoA shedding about 60% of the department’s staff.
