Xbox 360 gamers have been enjoying Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved ever since the console launched towards the end of 2005, and now Vista gamers can get in on the action too.

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved will set you back $7.95 and it comes to Vista in pretty much the same form as the Xbox 360 game. The game works perfectly with dual stick controllers and you’ll have support for such controllers with the PC game – wired Xbox 360 controller included. You can also opt to play with just a keyboard, keyboard and mouse or a single stick joypad.

Unlike the Xbox 360 game, you won’t have Achievements to unlock, but there is the option to download a trial version which gives you four minutes of high-octane shooting before being kicked out and forced to pay-up if you want to play on for any longer. If you find yourself dying before the four-minutes are up then it might be best to stick with the demo.

You’ll find Geometry Wars along with plenty of other games over on the MSN Games Vista Channel.
