Players who purchase Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be given free access to the entire Gears of War collection, Microsoft has announced.
All you need to do is purchase and play the game online before December 31, 2015 to receive the original Xbox 360 versions of Gears 1, 2, 3 and Judgment at no additional cost. The games can then be played on Xbox One when backwards compatibility rolls out later this year.
Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launches on August 28, the game is also due to launch some time later on PC.
