Entry to the Gears of War Global Xbox Live Tournament is now open, with the tournament kicking off on April 9 through May 6. The tournament is presented by the World Cyber Games and invites players to take part against millions of gamers from 70 different countries.
Players will have to compete in ranked matches in Warzone, with the top 11 ranked players winning a trip for two to Prague to compete in the Gears of War World Finals.
Players that rank 12-25 will receive an Xbox 360 bundle (Xbox 360 Pro Console, Viva Piñata, Project Gotham Racing 3, Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1, Kameo, and Xbox Live Gold 12-month subscription) and Gears of War faceplates.
There are also prizes on offer from World Cyber Games, with the top four overall ranked players from each participating country gaining automatic entrance to their country’s 2007 World Cyber Games National Championship event.
