Microsoft has released a short clip of Gears of War 4’s multiplayer ahead of the beta’s launch next week.
The 10-second clip shows one of the game’s new lead characters Kait using the new Dropshot gun to perform a grisly execution on a Swarm foot soldier. You can check it out in the video below.
Alongside the video, Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson also released a short Vine clip of the Dropshot being used to perform a headshot. If you thought the last video was violent you haven’t seen anything yet…
Gears of War 4’s beta enters early access next Monday, April 18, before opening up to all players on April 25. Early access is only available to players who played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition prior to April 11.
Gears of War 4 launches in full on Xbox One on October 11, 2016.
