Gears of War 4 in 4K gives a glimpse of possible Xbox Scorpio visuals

Gears of War 4 will be launching October 11 simultaneously on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, with the PC version obviously able to pump up the visuals beyond what the Xbox One is capable of.

In the video below you can check out Gears of War 4 running at 4K on a Windows 10 PC powered by an Nvidia GTX 1080 GPU. Perhaps this gives an early indicator of what kind of visuals you’ll be able to expect from the Xbox Scorpio coming holiday 2017.

Obviously the 6 teraflops capable Scorpio won’t be able to deliver the same raw power of the 1080, but you’d hope with some optimisations Gears 4 will look something like what you can see below.

In the 10 minute demo you’ll see the Rescue chapter with JD, Kait and Del chasing an unknown enemy through an old fort.
