Players who buy Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be offered early access to a Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta coming in 2016, Microsoft has announced.
Both games were announced during Microsoft’s E3 press conference earlier today, with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition offering a 1080p remaster of the original Gears of War. A public beta is available to download on Xbox One today.
Gears of War 4, meanwhile, launches exclusively on Xbox One in late 2016, and is described by Microsoft as a “new saga”.
