Gearbox is developing a new Borderlands title specifically for next-gen consoles, Take Two has announced.
The publisher confirmed the title during its Q3 earnings call earlier this evening, but chose not to confirm when the game is planned to release.
Gearbox revealed last month that it was hiring staff to work on a new Borderlands game, referring to the title as “the big one”.
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, a compilation featuring Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, is due to release on PS4 and Xbox One next month.
