George R.R. Martin’s iconic fantasy series Game of Thrones returns again in a brand-new RTS setting. Coming just off the release of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, the beloved (except for the ending) fantasy series has a brand-new video game on the way.
Game of Thrones: Battle for Westeros announced
Announced during the Summer Games Fest with a snazzy new cinematic trailer, gives you control over numerous armies from across Westeros. Will you control the White Walkers and decimeate the fantastical city? Or will you play as Jon Snow and push the undead back across the wall?
The new RTS game draws inspiration directly from George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels, and is the first big push from Warner Bros. games’ new initative. While not much is known about the game, the title is expected to launch sometime in 2026.
